I find it almost laughable, if it wasn’t so pathetic, that American history books and television suggest that Africa is a debase continent full of people and animals that generate disease and run around with loin cloths only. No one needed the British/Romans to “civilize” the different cultures to their way of response. Africa has produced more true blood royals than any country in the world. Before the continents parted, the land mass that is now Africa was the center of the established populace. Africa’s resources have always been craved by the greedy. The cultural contributions to the arts are unsurpassed. As a mother gives birth after acquiring seed from the father, so did Africa. The bright colors and strongly defined content speak to the strength, beauty and power of this nation.
